Course Catalog Description

Course designed for students to learn research-based learning practices to become highly effective learners both in academic settings and any other environment in which effective learning is necessary. This course is designed for students of all standings, not just undergraduate students.

Course Overview

This course is designed to give students a growth mindset to achieve their highest potential as life-long learners. By combining research-based learning, study, and testing practices with fundamentals such as project planning, creative habits, goal setting, and old-fashioned personal discipline this class brings together a comprehensive and holistic program for becoming a highly effective student.

Course Learning Outcomes

The course project is to keep a reflective writing journal to record and think over the practices and fundamentals for the duration of the semester for both this class and other classes.
