Course Catalog Description
Course designed for masters/doctoral students to plan and prepare for their thesis/dissertation. The sooner this course is taken the better so that students can apply lessons learned to as many other classes as possible to purposefully incorporate those experiences into the thesis/dissertation process.
Course Overview
This course emphasizes the purpose of the thesis/dissertation so that students, with that vision in mind, can make effective, bold, and purposeful plans for the thesis/dissertation. Students will reverse engineer many successful thesis/dissertation to identify their main components, explore their creativity, and understand their contribution.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students are prepared to plan and conduct meaningful research that will advance their careers and make a contribution to academia and/or society.
