That Time Together

The combination of my retirement year and the out break of the COVID-19 pandemic gave my son Jeffrey and me opportunity and reason to spend a lot of time with each other. Jeffrey had recently taken up snorkeling as a hobby, and I was glad for the time to talk with him in the car on the way to and from the shallow stream near our home in Maryland, and for the longer trips as we explored Billy Goat Trail, a newly discovered favorite place to hike.
